Welcome to the CreationWiki!

We thank the Lord for your willingness to serve Him by participating in the development of this educational resource. The CreationWiki is a collaborative effort and your help is needed. Our hope is that by working together we can build an archive of knowledge that will spread the truth of His creation throughout the world.

Please note that only creationists are permitted to edit articles. New editors are encouraged to visit the community portal to find ways of getting involved. It is also important to familiarize yourself with policy, such as the requirements for uploading images. The CreationWiki has also been equipped with numerous help files that are essential for people unfamiliar with editing using the Mediawiki software.

  • Policy - We now ask that editors provide references to support all article content.
  • Creating a new page - Simply enter a title for your new article and click "Create page".
  • Editing Help - Authoring within the CreationWiki may require a little education.
  • Formatting Help - Formatting pictures and creating tables will help make your pages professional.

You asked for a reason for my rollback of your edit to that article.

Let's begin by establishing a ground rule: Neither I nor any other administrator is under any obligation to explain anything he does, except to a higher-ranking administrator. I am simply responsible to Mr. Ashcraft as to the appropriateness of my actions, and the soundness of my judgment. But I am not responsible to you.

Now I'll give you an explanation anyway, just so that you know that we administrators proceed through logic:

An article on any religion is a place to describe that religion, and its history. Any value judgments that we care to make, we must exprress in a polite manner. What you wrote was needlessly inflammatory. The best defense of Christianity is on its own page. Aside from that: we can offer criticism of Islam for its logical flaws, and for its pretenses to be something that it is not. (It pretends to be an extension of the Judeo-Christian system, and that it definitely is not.) But what you tried to cite, tells the reader nothing that he wouldn't be able to figure out.

In any event, the primary mission of this site is to discuss science and history from the perspective of creationism, not to urge anyone to declare war against any particular religious tradition.--TemlakosTalk 16:56, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
