Talk:Archaeopteryx is fully bird (Talk.Origins)

I'm not comfortable with some of this article. Talk.Origins has made it a numbers game (more dinosaurian than avian features) and the article plays that game by adding avian features to exceed the number of dinosaurian features. Without any regard to the relevance of each feature, this is an invalid argument.

Secondly, the number of dinosaurian features has not been exceeded anyway, as the Talk.Origins list finishes with the words, "and over 100 other differences from birds".

Finally, some of the additional avian features listed in this response are features that birds have, but as far as I know are not features that Archaeopteryx has evidence for. For example, is there actual evidence that Archaeopteryx had avian lungs? The linked Creation article is about avian lungs, but does not mention Archaeopteryx.

Why did you delete that link? --Mr. Ashcraft 18:36, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
Because it seems to say nothing about archaeopteryx's lungs. NinjaApple 19:34, 5 May 2007 (EDT)
