Scientific Classification

Liliaceae is a family of about 4000 species and 250 genera. They are located all over the world in many different climates, and frequently used for decoration due to their vibrant colors and graceful appearance. The petals on the Liliaceae family generally come in groups of threes; and normally teardrop shaped. The leaves of the Liliaceae family are linear shaped with parallel veination.
